Search Tips |
- Use quotation marks (" ") when you want to search for a phrase Example: "auto dealer" We will only match and highlight the quoted words when they appear together or in close proximity. This feature is especially useful when looking for a business that describes itself as a dealer or a contractor or a store.
- Use OR when you are looking for similar but different businesses Example: "Chinese OR italian restaurant" We will final all businesses that are either Chinese or Italian restaurants. Be sure to use an upper case OR so that we know what you want us to do.
- Search for businesses by street name Example: restaurants "Union St" San Francisco We will find all restaurants located on Union St in San Francisco.
- Search for businesses by landmark Example: restaurants near Coit Tower in San Francisco We will find all restaurants near Coit Tower in San Francisco.
- Narrow your search by specific type of business Example: "Mexican restaurant" vs "restaurant"
- Narrow your search by partial business name Example: "El Dorado restaurant" vs "restaurant"
- Narrow your search by city Example: "Raleigh restaurant" vs "restaurant"
- Narrow your search by street name Example: "restaurant blount" vs "restaurant"
- Narrow your search by brand name Example "Taco Bell" vs "restaurant"
- Combine any of the above search techniques Example: "Taco Bell Blount"
